Lamar Crates are green by design. By this we mean that every part of the crate is either recyclable or biodegradable. The metal clamps are recyclable since they are metal. The OSB board and lumber used to make the pallet and crate parts are biodegradable.
We like to call the crate semi-returnable. The estimated life-expectancy of each crate is approximately two years. These crates are designed to be used time and time again while eliminating air toxins, landfill waste and deforestation.
The Lamar Crate is designed to be reusable within a closed logistic loop system. Damaged crates can be easily refurbished simply by replacing the damaged components with new components. Recycling the Lamar Crate eliminates the cost of new crates offering a KD return ratio as high as 7 to 1; the Lamar Crate can help to reduce the freight costs.
